A blind lady’s story
Tocke has been blind for many years. She was a great talker and story-teller, here describing the way that bandits had ambushed her party on the latest journey, and how she stood up to an SPLA officer who arrived on the scene. Her audience fell about in fits of laughter (War and Survival, p. 198).
